CTG-1000 VMS Video Management System
Based on a unique, distributed architecture design, the CTG-1000 VMS is the ideal solution for real time control of any video file server system. Intuitive and easy to use, the system provides operators with a valuable resource management tool. With the CTG-1000 VMS, pro-action replaces reaction. The net result - increased operator efficiency and a vast reduction in the possibility of on-air outages and errors.
Features of the system include:
Schedules can be imported or created "from scratch" via the workstation. In either case, whenever a schedule is imported or created, the CTG-1000 automatically checks it for discrepances and creates a pull list when scheduled media needs to be copied or loaded. Events can also be manually added to the pull list, which shows all media needing to be ingested, copied or loaded to satisfy a playlist, and can be sorted by schedule, channel, or air time to maximize workload efficiency.
The channel playout monitoring and control facility provides easy access for playout schedule editing, manual event start, event re-cueing, event skipping, channel holding, and channel releasing. The display also shows conflicts in scheduled events, and clearly depicts media that is unavailable, allowing operators to easily correct schedule problems.
Pull list events are automatically generated when schedules are created or ingested, and can also be manually added using the Workstation record function. The pull list also shows all media needing to be ingested, copied, or loaded to satisfy a playlist, and can be sorted by schedule, channel, and airtime to maximize workload efficiency.
With the CTG-1000 VMS, events can be started manually by the workstation, by GPI, or automatically after the previous event has finished. GPIs can also be triggered on events.
